The aim of this dissertation is to look at the current state of recruitment and selection, performance management, grievance procedures and trade unions in small to medium enterprises. In order to achieve this objective a comprehensive literature review was carried out in recruitment and selection, performance management, grievance procedures and trade unions in small to medium enterprises.
